SAN ANTONIO -

We are just a few days away from Christmas.  Santa is making his list and checking it twice.  He's finding out who's been naughty and nice.  But in the meantime, here are some free things you can do to enjoy the holidays.

Check in with Santa for free.  Visit this website to have Santa send a personalized video to the kids letting them know how things are going at the North Pole.

Looking for some things to do with the kids now that school is out?  There are several free ebooks out there with all kinds of ideas.  One book gives you some easy recipes for Christmas Cookies and Exchange Parties.  One has some easy Christmas crafts for the kids.  While the kids are doing that, how about putting something in the slow cooker?  There's a book for that, too.

Want some free music to listen to while baking those cookies or making those crafts?  The folks at iTunes has a free holiday single every week and this week its Lady Antebellum's "Silent Night."  There is also an app you can download for free that contains 10,000 Christmas songs.  If you use Amazon, they also have free singles everyday.

You can share your freebies with us anytime.  Send them to fridayfreebies@ksat.com.
