If you and the kids are out and about tomorrow and the kids are in costume, stop by J.C. Penney. Kids will be trick-or-treating in the stores. The salons will be making up the kids' hair and doing spooky nails for free. And if the kids are in costume, you can get their pictures taken in the portrait studio for $8.

If you are looking for an opportunity for some pre-Halloween trick-or-treating, Traders Village is hosting a big event on Sunday. From 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Traders Village is hosting its Halloween Boo Bash. It's complete with trick-or-treating, a parade, live music and tons of other free activities for the kids.
Krispy Kreme has a special treat for Halloween. Show up to a Krispy Kreme location on Halloween dressed in costume, and you can get a free Halloween-themed doughnut. It's good for one doughnut and it's only good on Halloween.
District Seven city councilman Cris Medina is hosting a free Fall Festival on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Nani Falcone Park. There will be food and games and it ends with a free movie: "Coraline."
Looking ahead to after Halloween, the city is hosting a free Landfill Disposal day on Saturday, November 2nd. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can dispose of some unwanted items for free. No hazardous materials, commercial or industrial waste.
