Jeanette Vizguerra, an undocumented immigrant who has taken refuge in a Denver church since February to avoid being deported, was named Thursday as one of the most influential people in the world by Time magazine.
'Ugly Betty' actress and activist America Ferrera wrote TIME Magazine’s profile of Vizguerra. In the article, Ferrera said that Vizguerra’s inspiring life stands in contrast to the rhetoric President Donald Trump has used to describe undocumented immigrants.
