HEB Cranberry Mostarada

A delicious holiday treat that can be used to complement a lot of dishes

Cranberry Mostarda

Prep Time: 15 min.        Cook Time: 60 min.

 

Ingredients:

  • 5 jalapeños, sliced
  • 3 cup(s) apple cider vinegar
  • 12 oz dried cranberries
  • 1 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup(s) mustard seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/3 cup(s) thinly sliced shallots
  • 1 pint mason jar with lid

 

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into non reactive saucepan and bring mixture to a simmer.
  • Continue to cook 45 - 60 minutes or until liquid in pot has almost completely evaporated and cranberries are nice and soft.
  • Transfer mostarda to jar, close lid and cool on counter before transferring to fridge. Mostarda will keep in refrigerator about a month.
