SAN ANTONIO – A job fair hosted by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office will take place Wednesday at the county adult detention center at 200 N. Comal St.
The Sheriff's Office said the event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is aimed at recruiting veterans and their spouses, but is open to the public.

Staff with the Sheriff's Office will be there to provide information to those looking to enter the corrections and law enforcement profession, deputies said.
The Sheriff's Office said it will have representatives from its civilian departments, including central records and dispatch.
Representatives from Veterans Affairs will also be present to answer questions regarding benefits, deputies said.
The Sheriff's Office said visitors will have to pay to park in the garage on Comal Street or find free parking nearby.
