NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -

The man who led the "Can the Ban" movement in New Braunfels is now a wanted man in Guadalupe County.

A grand jury indicted Mark McGonical on aggravated perjury. According to District Attorney Heather McMinn, the charge doesn't have anything to do with the "Can the Ban" movement.

McMinn said it's related to a name change application and accusations that McGonical did not answer a question on the form honestly—even though he said he did.

A warrant was issued for McGonical's arrest but he was not in police custody Monday evening.
