SAN ANTONIO -

A man residents of an Eastside motel called the "Snakeman” because he was seen almost daily with a live boa constrictor around his neck  was found guilty of killing another man at the motel on June 15, 2011.

Witnesses testified that Julian Bell, 32, had another man knock on the door of Jason Ross, 29, and when Ross opened the door, Bell opened fire with a shotgun.

Prosecutors said Bell was upset with Ross because Ross refused to hang out with him.  He felt disrespected they told the jury during closing arguments.

Bell will be back in court for formal sentencing by Judge Raymond Angelini on June 18.

He is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison.
