Disabled Woman Dies After Alleged Sex Assault

SAN ANTONIO -- A 30-year-old disabled woman who police said was sexually assaulted by her father died Sunday.

The results of Jessica Martin's autopsy were pending.

Martin was removed from her home Thursday after her father, Laney Reed Martin, was arrested on charges of incest and aggravated sexual assault of a handicapped person.

Jessica Martin, who could not move from the neck down, died while in custody of Adult Protective Services.

Laney Reed Martin is free on bond.
