Firefighters Monitor Four-Story Brush Fire

SAN ANTONIO -- A fire consumed a tower of mulch four stories tall in Helotes on Tuesday morning.

Three area fire departments said they are monitoring the blaze, but won't fight the flames unless the fire gets out of control.

Firefighters said it could take days for the fire to burn itself out.

No evacuations have been ordered.

The fire is not threatening surrounding homes

It is not known how the fire started.
