SAN ANTONIO -- A former senior airman at Lackland Air Force Base is posing nude again.
Michelle Manhart recently took part in a photo spread for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
Manhart said she decided to participated in the "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign because she loves animals and doesn't care for furs.
"Until you learn where the fur comes ... you don't understand," Manhart said. "Unfortunately, there are some really bad circumstances ... skinning animals alive."
Other people who have taken part in the nude PETA campaign include Pamela Anderson, Kim Basinger and Dennis Rodman.
Manhart first made headlines when she posed nude for the February 2007 issue of Playboy.
She was then demoted to senior airman and removed from active duty. She has since been assigned to the Iowa Air National Guard, but she submitted her resignation from the military and is waiting for confirmation.
