SAN ANTONIO -- Two people are dead as a result of a murder-suicide Saturday evening, police said.

Elizabeth Bravo, 46, was shot multiple times by her estranged boyfriend Bruce Doss, before he turned the weapon on himself, police said.

When Bravo's son could not reach his mother on the phone, he went to the home on the 9100 block of Foxgrove Way near Hunt Lane and Highway 151 where he discovered what had happened.

Bravo had recently ended her relationship with 50-year-old Doss, Bravo's son said.

"They were both found inside the living room," SAPD Lt. Michael King said. "(Bravo) had been shot multiple times. She was trying to defend herself and was shot."

After shooting Bravo, Doss shot himself twice in the chest, police said.
