Fire Breaks Out In Movie Theater

About 100 Patrons Evacuated

SAN ANTONIO -- A fire in a movie theater became more than a cliché late Friday morning.

Nobody was injured as about 100 moviegoers were evacuated when two theatre seats caught fire at the Huebner Oaks Theaters at Interstate 10 and Huebner.

The sprinkler system was activated as the fire alarm went off, sending patrons into the parking lot.

Arson investigators have been called to the scene to investigate.
