Police: Ex-Madison High Coach Had Improper Relationship With Student

SAN ANTONIO -- A former Madison High School basketball coach was arrested Wednesday and charged with having an improper relationship with one of her female players.

Summer Allen, 26, resigned from the Northeast Independent School District in February 2007 after allegations surfaced about a relationship that police said began in 2006.

Allen was arrested Wednesday and is in the Bexar County jail. Her bail was set at $20,000.
