New details have been released into how local restaurateur Viola Barrios was killed last week.

The Bexar County medical examiner said Barrios died of a penetrating wound to the head as a result of a bow and arrow. Investigators confiscated a similar weapon on Friday from the home of 18-year-old Joe Estrada Jr., calling it evidence related to the investigation.

Estrada lived with his parents next door to Barrios on the city's northwest side.

Police said Estrada admitted to breaking into the home and setting the house on fire. He is currently charged with capital murder and is in the Bexar County Jail on a $1 million bond.
