Woman Killed, Man Shot In Balcones Heights

SAN ANTONIO -- A woman was shot and killed Monday evening in what police said was a gang-related shooting.

Witnesses told police a man walked up to a car parked on Fredericksburg Road in the Balcones Heights subdivision and began shooting.

The victims managed to drive to a hotel a few miles away before calling for help. The male victim was taken to University Hospital in fair condition, but the woman died at the scene, police said.
