Man Stabbed At Taco House Dies

SAN ANTONIO -- A man who was trying to buy flowers outside a Mexican restaurant early Wednesday morning has died of his injuries.

Evaristo Mena was eating outside the Ric-Ron Taco House on the 300 block of East Mitchell Street when he stepped outside to buy flowers from a vendor, police said. That's when two men attacked and stabbed Mena, according to investigators.

Witnesses said the men drove away in a red truck. Police were still searching for the attackers Wednesday evening.
