NATALIA, Texas -- Two people were killed and 13 others were injured early Monday in a rollover crash in Medina County.

Killed was an adult male and a 15-year-old boy, Department of Public Safety Officials said.

At least three of the injured were airlifted to hospitals in San Antonio, DPS officials said.

The victims were among 16 people riding in a van that was headed from the Fort Worth area to Mexico on vacation when it blew a tire around 3 a.m. and rolled into a median on the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 south of Natalia, DPS officials said.

Several of the passengers in the van were children, DPS officials said.
