Alleged Impersonator Charged With Murder

INGRAM, Texas -- Investigators have identified the remains of a man found buried behind a home in the Hill Country community of Ingram as those of a homeowner allegedly being impersonated by a man arrested Thursday.

The remains are those of Allen Kowalski, said Kerr County sheriff's officials late Friday afternoon.

Charles Lee Tidwell, who was arrested Thursday on charges of impersonating Kowalski, has been charged in connection with Kowalski's death. Tidwell is currently in the Kerr County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
