SAN ANTONIO -- A faltering economy has one real estate agent taking his business efforts to the street.

At 7 a.m. Wednesday, Richard Bowman moved his office to a busier location -- the intersection of Bitters Road and Highway 281 on the city's north side.

"I thought that would be a great idea to try and get some business," he said.

Bowman, calling himself a street Realtor, said he wants his clients -- present and future -- to see he would do whatever it takes to sell a home, and that he's noticed an increase in business since he started his unorthodox advertising campaign.

"I think my sign symbolizes hope because people see a real estate agent, and they say, 'Maybe I can do something a little extra, too,'" he said.
