Atascosa County Town Without Water

Well In Campbellton, Texas, Failed

CAMPBELLTON, Texas -- A failed well in the southern Atascosa County town of nearly 500 people is the reason the San Antonio Water System has sent a tanker to the town, according to a news release.

The 5,000-gallon tanker will allow residents to refill water jugs and small containers, the release stated. The tanker was sent late Friday afternoon and will remain in the town until late Friday evening.

Campbellton is located south of San Antonio.
