Unidentified Officer Placed On Administrative Leave Pending Investigation

SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio Police officer has been placed on administrative leave after a woman alleged he sexually assaulted her late last month.

The officer, whose identity is being withheld based on a pending investigation, is a 4-year veteran of the force, according to a news release. The report was filed June 27.

The officer will remain on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation.
