SAN ANTONIO -- A man was arrested after an overnight stabbing police said was part of a love triangle.
Shannon Lee Bruton, 29, allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend at least once in the chest when the pair fought at Bruton's apartment on the 11300 block of Roszell Street on the city's northeast side. Witnesses said the fight began in the parking lot and moved into one of the units at the L.C. Rutledge Apartments.
The 36-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center where he later died. Bruton has been charged with first-degree murder, police said, and remains in the Bexar County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bond.
