SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio police responded to separate stabbing incidents late Wednesday into Thursday morning that sent two people the hospital.

The first incident was reported around 10 p.m. in the 200 block of Corliss on the East Side.

Police said a woman and man were drinking and got into an argument.

The woman attacked the man and stabbed him in the leg with a kitchen knife, police said.

The woman was arrested. Police said the victim was expected to recover.

A few hours later, police responded to a stabbing at Deerwood Drive at Harry Wurzbach.

Investigators said a man was stabbed in the stomach and arm.

He was taken to the hospital, but police have not given an update on his condition.

Police caught up with a suspect at Eisenhauer and Austin Highway, and found a weapon found at the scene.

Police did not have a motive for the attack.
