A man and a woman accused of breaking into several vehicles were taken into custody Thursday night.
San Antonio police arrested the pair in the 7800 block of Fredericksburg Road at a Budget Suites.
SAPD officials said officers ran the license plates of a suspicious pickup truck and determined the vehicle had been stolen.
Officers approached the pair and they both fled, leading officers on a short foot chase before they were both apprehended.
"What we then were able to do was get a consent to search not only the truck, but the apartment they were going into. When we went into the apartment, we found a load of stolen property," said Sandy Gutierrez, SAPD spokesperson.
Authorities found electronics, power tools, jewelry and a guitar among other things.
SAPD investigators said they are looking for a potential third suspect in this case and possibly even more stolen property.
