KERRVILLE, Texas -

Two men were arrested Thursday following a home invasion that erupted into gunfire in Kerr County.

According to the Kerr County Sheriff's Office, Timothy Scott Pugh, 27, and Vernon Lee Travis III, 29, went to a home in Kerr County with intentions to rob a person they believed was a drug dealer.

When the suspects arrived at the home, they opened fire, sheriff's officials said. No one was wounded and no drugs were found in the home, sheriff's officials said.

The suspects then took off in a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria and led sheriff's deputies and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers on a short vehicle and foot chase.

Pugh and Travis were apprehended, arrested and taken to the Kerr County Jail, where they were being held pending an appearance before a magistrate.

The suspects face multiple charges, including evading arrest and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
