STOCKDALE, Texas -

Two people are dead and one wounded in a triple shooting at a home on County Road 401 near highway 87.

Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt identifies the victims at 50-year-old Ramona Lambeck and 54-year-old Steven Lambeck.

They were found dead in their bed around 3:20 am Thursday. Both had been shot in the head. Tackitt says there wounds were not self-inflicted.

Steven Lambeck's 29-year-old son, Tyson Lambeck, was shot in the shoulder and rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center. He had been staying with the couple and made the 911 call.

"There is no sign of forcible entry to the house. The house was ... open when officers arrived," said Tackitt.

Tackitt added that there was no sign of a struggle inside the home. The house is equipped with an alarm system, but it did not go off, Tackitt said.

The victims' neighbors saw the couple on Wednesday as Ramona Lambeck was sweeping the front porch and Steven Lambeck was coming home from work in the oil fields.

"We're shocked. I'm shocked," said Susan Deagen, who lives nearby. "This is hard because it's a small town and you know these people all your life."

She said they never saw any signs of trouble.

"They were just small-town, every-day people," Deagen said. "Just lived their lives."

Investigators -- including Texas Rangers, who are assisting -- have not released any information yet on any possible suspects.
