2 hurt in South Side bar fight, stabbing

Police investigating

SAN ANTONIO – Two people were taken to the hospital following a bar fight on the South side early Sunday morning. 

Police responded to a disturbance call at a bar in the 3100 block of Roosevelt Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

When police arrived they found two people, a man and a woman, with cuts to their heads and lots of broken bottles. Police said they had bottles broken over their head.

When the man got into the ambulance, emergency medical services noticed he also had multiple stab wounds.

Both he and the woman were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Police are investigating who stabbed the man and why.
