SAN ANTONIO – Raul Garza, III, and August Fisher, 47, are accused of taking part in the murder of a man at a Northwest Side apartment complex earlier this month.
Garza, 46, is suspected of being the triggerman in the killing, while Fisher is accused of handing him the gun.
An arrest warrant affidavit said that witnesses told San Antonio police they saw Garza threaten to kill Isidro Lopez, 36, on January 3 during a dispute that had to do with money someone else owed him.
Police said the two men agreed to fight instead. The affidavit said however that at one point, Fisher handed Garza his gun and he shot Lopez.
A murder charge was filed against Garza and Fisher Tuesday.
