Witnesses say driver was racing when crash happened

SAN ANTONIO -

A high speed rollover wreck injured two people late Saturday night on the city's eastside, according to authorities.

Police said witnesses told them the driver of a BMW convertible was speeding and possibly racing along the I-10 access road when he lost control and hit a curb.

Police said the car then flipped and ejected the driver and the passenger inside.

Authorities said both crash victims were transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

The condition of the victims was not immediately released.
