SAN ANTONIO -

Two men are at local hospitals after being stabbed overnight in separate incidents.

The first stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Perez Street.

According to police, the victim was drinking with family members when he got into an argument with a friend, who then in turn stabbed him in the arm and upper back.

Afterward, the suspect fled the scene.

The victim was taken to University Hospital.

There was no word on his condition.

Police caught the suspect in the 1600 block of Morales Street.

He could be facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

The other stabbing happened around 10 p.m. Friday in Converse.

According to police, a teen was at a party when he was robbed of his cellphone, wallet, and keys, then stabbed twice in his upper left shoulder.

The victim was able to walk to the 1800 block of North Foster Road near Interstate 10 where EMS picked him up.

He was taken to SAMMC in critical condition.

Police say the teen was being uncooperative with the investigation.
