Driver Killed In Crash
Victim Identified As Carlos Maldonado

SAN ANTONIO -- A 32-year-old man was killed in a high-speed crash on the city's south side early Friday.
The victim was identified as Carlos Maldonado.
Police said that Maldonado was speeding when he lost control of his Ford Focus in the
2500 block of Goliad Road and crashed into a utility pole and tore through a privacy fence.
Maldonado died at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
