NATALIA, Texas -- Medina County sheriff’s Officials have arrested four juveniles in connection with a string of arsons in Natalia.

The fires, which targeted homes and other property, happened last fall over the course of a week, said Medina County Sheriff Randy Brown.

The juveniles, who were in court for a detention hearing Monday, face charges of arson, Brown said. Some of them will also be charged with organized crime and burglary.

“For them to be as young as they are, it’s really sad,” Brown said.

“I would like to see them prosecuted to the fullest extent,” said a fire victim, who only wanted to be known as Ed.

The victim said the juveniles went into his home and vandalized it and set a mattress on fire, heavily damaging his home.
