Murder Defendant Convicted On Lesser Charge
Punishment Phase Of Frank Dotson's Trial Under Way

SAN ANTONIO -- Frank Dotson, 30, was one of two men accused of opening fire outside Stacy's Sports Bar on Aug. 25, 2007.
Two brothers, Eugene and Demetris Keno, were killed. Two other people were wounded by the gunfire.
Last year, Danielle Derovan was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the double murder. On Friday, Dotson was found guilty of aggravated assault.
During the punishment phase of his trial on Monday, prosecutors outlined Dotson's checkered criminal past. It included drug, weapons possession and drunken driving charges.
He is facing a punishment range of 2 to 20 years in prison.
