SAN ANTONIO -- A 16-year-old runaway from Houston, driving a stolen truck, caused a huge mess in Northwest San Antonio Wednesday evening, San Antonio police Sgt. Ernest Celaya said.
Celaya said the teenager was involved in a hit-and-run earlier Wednesday afternoon.
Celaya said he was fleeing that scene when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of North Sabinas and Cincinnati roads, crashing into a red car then a silver car.
After wrecking, the teenager tried to run on foot from that scene but officers were able to catch up with him, Celaya said.
He was arrested and charged with failure to stop and render aid, a felony.
No one was seriously hurt in the accident.
