Motorcycle Rider Injured In Crash

SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio police said a man on a motorcycle rider was injured late Saturday night on the southeast side.
Police said the rider might have been speeding when he crashed into a construction sign on Interstate 37 near Hot Wells Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officer said other drivers told investigators the man was weaving in and out of traffic before the crash.
They said when he came up on the construction zone, he lost control and hit the sign.
The motorcycle rider was tossed from the bike, according to investigators.
They said he was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center and was in stable condition.
Police said he was wearing a helmet. The police report identified the man as 36-year-old Michale Lee Gowans.
