SAN ANTONIO -- Two men were shot early Wednesday morning at a popular restaurant on the city's Northeast side, police said.

The two men who police believe were responsible for the shooting fled the scene.

Police said around 1:30 a.m., two men and two women were outside Chacho's and Chalucci's, at Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel Road, when three people pulled up in a small car. Two men stepped out of the vehicle and started arguing with the men, police said.

At that point, one of the men from the car pulled out a gun and shot the two men on the patio, one in his chest, the other in his leg, police said. The men were taken to Brooke Army Medical Center and are in unknown condition.

Police said the shooter got back in the car and the men sped off. Police said there was a woman in the car with them.

As of Wednesday afternoon, no arrests had been made in the shooting.
