NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- Lindsey Ward, owner of First RV in New Braunfels is getting used to being the target of thieves.
He said RV retail store has been burglarized dozens of times in the last year with around 20 televisions stolen from RVs sitting on his lot.
Friday, his lot was hit again. But this time, alleged burglars 34 year-old Michael Moreno and 25 year-old Jesus Hernandez, were caught.
Comal County Narcotics officers executing a warrant on possible drug charges, busted into an apartment at the Easy Street Complex in the 5000 block of Old Highway 81.
Deputies found a small amount of methamphetamines and cocaine and three television sets.
Ward said after speaking with detectives, he learned the serial numbers on the televisions matched the serial numbers on the televisions stolen from his store that same day, but he said he doesn't believe it will put a stop to the burglars.
"They're like rats," Ward said. "Authorities will go over there and drain the swamp but it'll fill back up and they'll come back. All the rats will come back into the swamp again."
