SAN ANTONIO -- A 30-year-old San Antonio man, charged with intoxication manslaughter in the June death of his motorcycle passenger, is out on bond.
Police said Michael Brady was arrested on Wednesday, nearly nine months after the crash at Interstate 35 and Loop 410 where he and 21-year-old Yolanda Stevenson were thrown off the motorcycle when Brady slammed into a previously-wrecked, parked car. They both landed in the grass below the Interstate 35 entrance ramp.
Stevenson later died from her injuries at Brooke Army Medical Center. Brady was also taken to BAMC where he was treated for massive head injuries.
Brady was released from the Bexar County Jail on Thursday on a $20,000 bond.
