2 suspects arrested in Monday shooting

Corey Nicholas Corez, 19, was arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Live Oak.

Manual Enrique Rosario-Perez, of Live Oak, was arrested on Wednesday. The first suspect, Corey Nicholas Corez, 19, of Universal City (pictured), was arrested Tuesday.

Live Oak police said the shooting happened in the 11400 block of Golden Oak on Monday.

An officer heard the gunfire and followed the suspect's vehicle, which crashed at Village Oak and Welcome Drive. The suspects then ran off on foot, said police.

No one was injured in the shooting.
