SAN ANTONIO -

Three people were hospitalized and another was arrested after a head-on collision Thursday night in northeast San Antonio.

Police said the driver of an SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a small sedan just before 10 p.m. in the 6400 block of Walzem Road.

The driver and 14-year-old passenger in the car were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

A passenger in the SUV was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

The driver at fault was taken to University Hospital with unknown injuries. Police said he would face intoxication assault charges. His name and age have not been released.
