Three people were injured when a car and an ambulance collided on San Antonio's east side late Tuesday night.
San Antonio police said the crash happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection of N Hackberry and E Houston streets.
Police said the ambulance had its lights and siren on, and responding to a call when the accident occurred.
The ambulance was headed west on Houston when it broadsided a car headed south on Hackberry.
Three people inside the car were injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment. No one in the ambulance was injured.
San Antonio police said the driver of the car was not paying attention at the time of the crash, but was not ticketed.
