SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting outside the Bexar County Jail.
Just before midnight Wednesday, deputies inside the jail reported hearing gunfire outside.

During the course of the investigation, five shell casings were found in a parking lot near Martin Street. Deputies also found three personal vehicles that had been struck.
Spokesman James Keith said they are not sure if someone was targeting the vehicles or if the shots were from an unrelated incident.
No injuries were reported and investigators continue to look for the suspect(s).
