SAN ANTONIO -- A 45-year-old man who police said is a registered sex offender was arrested Tuesday morning after he allegedly exposed himself to some students at a school bus stop on the Northwest Side.
Police said they responded to a call at 7:15 a.m. for a suspicious vehicle on Stable Trail off Dezavala Road near Interstate 10.
When police arrived, they found the car with no front license plate and tape covering the rear license plate.
It turned out that Paul Gittinger had been seen earlier by some waste management workers allegedly exposing himself to high school kids at a school bus stop, police said.
Gittinger was arrested and taken into custody.
Police said Gittinger is also on parole on a burglary conviction.
