Motorcycle Hits, Kills Motorcycle Rider

SAN ANTONIO -- A motorcycle rider was killed early Friday after he was run over by a motorcycle that was right behind him.

Police said the two motorcycles were traveling in the 12000 block of Nacogdoches at about 1:30 a.m. when Troy Wallich, the first rider, skidded across an intersection trying to stop for a red light.

Noe Duncan, the second motorcyclist, couldn't stop in time and ran over Wallich before he was ejected from his bike, police said.

Wallich died at the scene. Duncan is recovering at Brooke Army Medical Center.

Duncan was charged with driving while intoxicated.
