SAN ANTONIO -- Bexar County Sheriff Department detectives said they have recovered some jewelry that was stolen from the home of a missing Alamo Heights teacher.
A clerk at Cash For Gold at 2638 N.E. Loop 410 told KSAT 12 News that on Nov. 23 a woman and a girl walked into the pawn shop with a gold women's Rolex watch and a gold one-carat diamond ring. The clerk ended up giving the pair $2,500 for the items.
Bexar County Sheriff Department detectives confirmed to KSAT 12 News that the jewerly belonged to Dianne Tilley, 58, who was reported missing the same day the items were pawned.
The clerk also said the woman who pawned the jewelry is the same woman an attorney representing a suspect in the case said is responsible for Tilly's disappearance.
"No question about it," said Jimmie Brown, the attorney representing Ronnie Neal, 33, who is being held on aggravated robbery charges.
Neal's 15-year-old daughter is in juvenile custody on a charge of delinquent conduct by reason of aggravated robbery.
