An Alamo Heights teacher was raped, abducted and shot to death before her body was buried in a field in northeast Bexar County, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KSAT 12 News.

The affidavit revealed that Pearl Ann Cruz, 15, and her father, Ronnie Neal, 33, allegedly teamed up to kill Dianne Tilly, 58, whose remains were discovered Saturday in a field in northeast Bexar County.

Cruz allegedly set the violence in motion by knocking on Tilly's door the night of Nov. 22., asking the teacher if she could use her phone because her car had broken down.

Seconds later, Cruz "pulled a gun on the victim and ordered her to the floor," the affidavit stated.

At that point, Neal entered the home and took Tilly to a back room, where he tied her hands and placed a bag or pillowcase over her head, the affidavit said.

Neal then allegedly raped Tilly while Cruz held the teacher's gun against her.

Bexar County sheriff's detectives said Neal and Cruz then drove Tilly to a field off Scene Lake Drive and Boenig, where the educator was shot several times and then buried under some brush near a fish tank.

Cruz eventually led investigators to Tilly's body after she made a deal with authorities. She is charged with delinquent conduct by reason of aggravated robbery.

According to the affidavit, Cruz told another jailed juvenile teen that "Neal had been watching the victim because she 'had a lot of nice things in her house.'"

Neal's charges have been upgraded to capital murder and is jailed without bond.

According to the affidavit, Neal told a Bexar County jail inmate, "I'm the one that's responsible for that teacher that's missing."
