Four men were arrested Tuesday fleeing from police after investigators said they kicked their way into two homes in Universal City.

The men, with one or more guns, broke into two homes on the same street, assaulting one of the homeowners in the process.

They fled, but not before a witness wrote down the getaway vehicle's license plate.

That plate led officers to a subdivision in nearby Converse, where they attempted to surround the house the vehicle was parked in front of.

The suspects fled into a nearby field where they were captured.

The group is also suspected in other recent home invasions in unincorporated Bexar County and Live Oak, although no formal charges have been filed.
