At least two people are in critical condition after a crash involving several vehicles late Sunday night.

Accident investigators said the wreck happened just before midnight on Sunday on Loop 1604 near O'Connor.

Police say a vehicle pulling a trailer on 1604 lost control and jumped a center wall, which caused the trailer to detach.

The vehicle landed in the two opposite lanes of 1604, where it collided with two other cars.

A total of four people were taken to area hospitals, two in reportedly critical condition.
