DEVINE, Texas -- A man living in the town of Devine was arrested Tuesday when hundreds of pornographic photos of children were allegedly found inside his home.
Nolan Earl Wilson, 29, was arrested Tuesday morning at a home outside of Devine. The Medina County Sheriff's Office said Wilson's was the county's first bust for child pornography.
The arrest comes after an intense, nine-month investigation involving the FBI.
A federal task force that focuses on Internet crimes against children, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the Devine Police Department and the Medina County Sheriff all gathered information that led to Wilson's arrest.
The evidence collected at his home in Devine show Wilson was downloading pornographic pictures of children, according to authorities.
"We've taken the computer into evidence, and it's still being evaluated and analyzed to determine whether or not there's any he took on his own," said Sheriff Gilbert Rodriguez, of the Medina County Sheriff's Office. "What we have recovered are photographs that he downloaded."
Wilson lived with his mother and siblings. They said they had no idea this was going on inside the home until early Tuesday morning when several different law enforcement agencies came to the home and began searching and confiscating things such as Wilson's computer.
Wilson is charged with 15 counts of possession of child pornography. His bond is set at $300,000.
