SAN ANTONIO -

Five people are injured after getting into a car accident on the city's east side.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Houston street and Loop 410.

According to police, a car was traveling east bound on Houston street when he made a left hand turn at the light, in front of a truck traveling west bound, when the two vehicles crashed.

There were four people inside the car and one person in the truck at the time.

Everyone was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car claims he had a green light when he made his turn.

No word on who's to blame.
